Universal Pictures had organized a nationwide contest on charliestcloudfans.com to win a hometown screening of Charlie St. Cloud with Zac Efron. Emily Johnson from St. Louis was the lucky winner and got to be his date for the red carpet. Afterwards, she and 100 of her friends were invited to preview Zac's new film that opens July 30th. Before the preview started, Zac Efron posed for pictures and signed autographs for the 2,000 fans which had come to the theater to see him.

Yesterday night the cast, crew and many fans converged on the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, California to celebrate the official world premiere of Charlie St. Cloud.
